How I Didn't Become A Piano Player

Ted, 9 year old, is the clumsiest boy in the world. Desperately searching for his vocation, he can't find anything he is good at. The breakthrough arrives the day his father comes home with an old monstrous piano. Ted has the revelation: he will become the next Mozart. But Ted doesn't seem particularly gifted for music either. While his practicing drives his family completely mad, a battle of wits breaks out between him and the very old Mrs Chin, his new piano teacher. But Ted is determinate to succeed, and has no intention to give up. Certainly he cannot imagine the consequences of his stubbornness... Based on the short story 'Every Good Boy' by David Nicholls.
