Festival 2012

The third edition of Skepto International Film Festival took place in Cagliari on March 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st, at Hostel Marina, at the former Liceo Artistico and at the city's Auditorium of piazza Dettori; parallel screenings of a selection of the best short films were also organized in Madrid, Barcelona, three Slovenian towns (Trbovlje, Sežana and Krško), Milan, Bologna, Florence, Perugia and Naples.

We received as many as 256 short films from all over the world (Italy, Armenia, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Greenland, Holland, Iran, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Palestine, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, U.S.A.), with a wide range of genres, styles, themes and production budget.

No lack of prominent movies, that were already awarded prestigious prizes in important Italian and international short film festivals. All that allowed us to organize four days of free projections, during which a large audience (more than 8000 persons in total) could see more than 100 short films, selected by a jury composed of relevant connoisseurs.
