Urzulei

Urzulei is a short documentary that opened the conference “Landscape and Architecture” that took place in Urzulei (Sardinia,Italy) on the 21st and the 22nd of April 2012. The film is a brief introduction to Urzulei’s landscape and more importantly to some of the region’s craftsmen and their unique work. Interviewees share their thoughts on the past, the present and the future of their village and its area, craftsmanship and life in general. The ultimate goal of both the documentary and the conference is to help to maintain what is left form unique craftsmanship of Urzulei and its area by establishing a bioarchitectural parc under the Unesco’s programme “Man and the Biosphere” meant to preserve and promote it.
